As you can see Bespoke Furniture pretty much covers all around the board. So why would you want to get Bespoke Furniture instead of mass-produced furniture? What is the difference in their furniture and say, IKEA’s?
THE BENEFITS OF BESPOKE FURNITURE
1. You’re Unlimited
With mass-produced furniture you are always going to be limited to the sizes, colours and styles available, whereas with bespoke furniture you have to opportunity to decide exactly what colour, shape and size your furniture will be. The end product is that you will own something that no one else has, a completely unique piece made to suit your tastes and needs.
2. Higher Quality
Many of our clients are looking for something that is of a much higher quality than what is available off the shelf. People who purchase Bespoke Furniture are looking for something that is built to last, and to achieve that you have to use better materials that can provide longevity.
This type of furniture isn’t just going to be created over night. You can’t go into a store and walk out with what you want then and there. It takes time to create something that is handcrafted and specific to your requirements. So generally you will have to wait from anywhere around 4 weeks to 12 weeks. The larger the product or quantity, the longer it will take to deliver.
For most people their biggest concern when it comes to Bespoke Furniture is cost… You will pay more, but you will ultimately get more. You are getting so much more with furniture that is tailored specifically to your needs, and the company has to do more. They have to advise, design, purchase materials, create and install. I always come back to the general rule that “the better the quality, the higher the cost”.
3. Longevity
I know I’ve mentioned it already but because furniture makers put so much passion and thought into what they create they are more likely to want to care for that furniture long-term. And because it lasts so much longer than any mass-produced piece it can be appreciated for years, moved house to house and even passed down through generations.
4. Unique Design
By going with a Bespoke Furniture Company you are getting experts to design something completely personal to you. You get taken along through the process so together you can achieve a piece of furniture that is exactly as you want it. You won’t have to compromise on any aspects of design, but instead you’ll get a completely unique piece…
5. On Hand Experts
Because you work so closely with a company to get what you want, the guidance and advice they offer is priceless. In my opinion the best benefit of going bespoke is you get incredibly talented craftsman working on your project. I really don’t think craftsman get enough recognition, everything they create is beautiful… Craftsman are the ones who bring your dreams to life. I love seeing how passionate the men in our workshop are about projects we do. As a result when our customers come to see the progress of their project and they can speak to the people who are actually making it, it makes the whole experience ten times better for them.
